Some of you guys dont seem to understand where jahmez is coming from..
One can appreciate artistry but that doesnt mean that they have to be thrilled by the work..
Jackson pollock for instance. As an art enthusiast, I do appreciate his artwork but does it touch me? Nope..
Floyd mayweather reminds me of those fine bitches who play hard to get. She have all the tools yet she refuses to put it all out.. she may kiss you , touch u, and tease u in all kinds of ways but the bitch never fully lets go..
Ya ever seen kim kardashian sex tape? That bitch is super hot but she cant fuck, its as if she's holding back because she can..
As talented as floyd is, he can dictate the fight and put on a show more often but he doesnt. He's so much quicker and his reflex is that much faster than his foes which means he can be more offensive yet he doesnt let his hands go enough.
Even in other sports like basketball and baseball, its the offensive players who make headlines more than the defnesive ones..
Floyd is truly one of a kind but there is a reason why many people dont like him and it is no fuckin mystery.. he's not exciting..
I would pay to watch well rounded boxers like marquez and Linares over floyd anyday...
Nah he's a shitcunt hype job. I actually do appreciate pure boxing skills - I'm a massive fan of Rigondeaux because every time he makes them miss he makes them pay - and with power. He's boring only because his current opponents have feared the pain, particularly the counter left up your cunt to the guts. Plus he doesn't coon and pull that faggot gangsta shit even though he's had a bonafide hard life with no pro boxer daddy and uncle watching his back and schooling him. Big fan of prime Toney too cos he actually rolled in the pocket and would counter in bunches to the head and the body. But Floyd's just too passive for me and talks too much shit. If watching a stooge pull out cash and repeat some lame rhyming couplet excites you then no worries whatever tickles your pickle. But for me there is nothing more embarassing then showing mates a vid of him cooning himself up as the GOAT then have them walk out of one of his boring ass fights. Pose, feint jab to the head, jab to the body followed by pose, fake jab to the body, bend below waistline to avoid left hook followed by clinch, shoulder roll to avoid right hand even though moved three yards out of range followed by pose, feint jab to the head followed by pose......
we can only hope and pray that this will be his last fight. then maybe we can get a champion in there who is willing to take chances and not fight only fighters he knows he can beat. this whole pacquiao fiasco is sickening. gayweather could prob/possibly beat manny, but as always, he wont even try the challenge. pathetic!
PLEASE RETIRE Floyd. us boxing fans are sick of your bullshit.
Khan ..Maidana..Garcia.. Pac
3 of these guys could easily be in the mix for his remaining fights.
Porter...Alexander and Brook could be fringe.
Who else do you think he should fight
Apart from these guys?
Theres no one left...he's beaten them all.
Only a fool would suggest Mayweather isn't a legend already.
Go look back through the list of fighters he's beaten.
His record is incredible![]()
Floyd for many years has played people for fools, nobody refutes this. I don't think he will go down as one the greatest because of the picking and choosing, time outs, and refusal to fight Manny. His career will whimper out and I don't really care about that. Let him walk, he abused his position to get his money and that's his motivation, just don't let him walk back. Boxing will be just as great without him.
Yup. Marciano is on his hit list just as Moores longevity record is on Hopkins mind. I think Floyd and Haymon have it all premeditated and I've been saying for years that he aims to mimic Leonard. I think he will retire at 49/0. I think he will then appear to be lured out of retirement and probably fight for the middleweight title. Oh he wont find a Hagler out there to copy Leonard completely but he will most likely make a hundred million dollars in the process.
Took him hard could be a little Freudian thereBut seriously, because he was in two competitive fights against world class guys, that lessens his standing somehow? Feel free to point out a fighter who took on all the best challengers possible over years and wasn't given any run for their money, those guys must be slipping my mind.
