I guess he's done. He had a lot of potential but will go down as yet another HW bust. I had high hopes for him even after he lost to Wlad, but after Toney schooled him and got robbed in the first fight, I knew it was not to be.

He had his time, best to retire while you still have your senses.

He made decent money and is now eating it all away. I'm sure when he gets low on funds he will return for 1 more money run. Peter vs Chisora would have been fun to watch.

Peter started getting hyped after knocking out Jeremy Williams unconscious but that wasn't enough for me to get on the bandwagon. I never thought much of him.

Besides that knockout, the best thing he ever did was scoring few KDs against wlad who was still mentally fragile and going through rebuilding stage after losing to Brewster. And for the record, all those were caused by rabbit punches, none of them were legal shots.

Sam peter sucks. Even a out of shape , over the hill james toney beat him unofficially.

I enjoyed watching Sam Peter even when he lost. He was great until the big fights arrived, then he seemed to wilt mentally. I hope he's living a good life.

Peter's best moment had to be flooring James Toney with a frggin weak ass jab. I found him fun to watch. He was a cheating bastard though. How many times can you get away with punches to the back of the head. He beat Maskaev with them & floored Wlad 3 times because of them (Maybe one was legit, I forget).

Wlad holds wayyy too much and rides his opponents. Yes, worse than Ali.


But, in hindsight I've come to look at Sam Peter as the villain in their first fight instead of Wlad. I rooted for Peter at the time. But, he was just such a cheating, miserable, careless fuck for repeatedly hitting other fighters being the head intentionally. Did it a lot to Wlad in that first fight. Peter was a motherfucker that way.
