Hair samples can detect if you've taken any sort of drug over a long period of time. In fact I think they even hold up in court nowadays. I remember when Rio Ferdinand got banned from football for missing a drugs test he grew out an afro so they could take a hair sample which proved he hadn't taken any drugs.

I found this just by doing a simple search on the best steroid test.

Imagine being a fighter and bringing this up to the media in negotiations?

One simple test that blows urine and random blood tests out the water. Why doesnt someone whos on these fighters twitter share the info and let them bring it up and make everyone aware how easy it is to check someone.

It's worth a try. They need to revamp testing, because the current testing (more often than not) isn't catching the cheaters.

Guys only get caught when the FBI busts the lab they buy from and finds their names on reciepts, and of course that's way too late.

I've heard it's one of the more accurate tests for long term use etc, some stuff will stay in your hair for ages. Don't know whether they would be able to tell how recently anyone had taken something by the same token though. My hair is probably still full of cannaboids, apparently it takes years to clear that way
