Lara vs. Floyd sounds like a good match , but I think it would be boring as hell.
Lara is a sharpshooter, he is one of the most patient fighters I have seen. He moves in and out with an awkward cadence, is very fast and will not commit until he is sure he will connect. He waits until the other fighter becomes impatient and makes a mistake.
Can you see pick 'em apart Floyd and this guy putting on an exciting fight?

Won't be exciting but its more competitive than Khan or Maidana Quillin is my pick. Grab a middleweight belt looks good for the legacy, chills out the haters cause he is fighting at 160, against an undefeated titleholder, although maybe not as big a risk as it seems

They are high fiving each other in the backroom as this is a sure thing to come off. But truth be told..Khan is going to get his fookin ass kicked. After that in the jr middle arena I'd love to see him go with Lara. Lara is a risk he has not faced in his own spoiler, boil down the pace and fast accurate punching kind of way. Or I'd pay him $50 bucks and wash his fleet of cars for a month just to publically toddler shake the shit out of a shocked Broner and demand his T shirt back

It should be pretty clear that Floyd is staying at 147 with or without a trinket for the time being. I'm glad Khan is ahead. Regardless of how good Maidana looked and how bad Broner did, I have no desire or interest in seeing Floyd fight another plodder.

No way does Showtime even consider bankrolling Lara/Floyd unless they want to become a competitor for Nytol. Did anyone like the Lara/Trout fight? It may have went the distance but that was no boxing match. It was a pose off. I'm glad that Locche and Pep fought in two different eras and weight classes and never met in the ring.

I dont think Floyd will venture to 160 until after he retires and will probably set up a 160 fight for his return much the same way that Leonard did for Hagler at his exit party. 160 presently has enough unfinished business. All of these "world" champions need to fight the rest of the world.

Slippery or a very clever business brain?

I really hope this is a one off and we dont see any other fighters doing this in the future.

Do you seriously think Floyd will base who he fights on a tiny poll? He can easily make whoever he wants to win in five minutes.

The cunt knows who he's fighting. The one that earns him the most dough.
