Chisora took a full blooded bear knuckled right hand off Haye and didn't get knocked out but it may well have affected his long term ability to take a shot. It still wasn't just a single shot that Haye stopped him with but now Chisoras getting hurt left right and centre by journeymen.
I'm not so sure, you can punch a lot harder with gloves on than you do bare knuckle (unless you want your hands to shatter, I thought you said you boxed?!

). Haye's hand was fine afterwards, I'd be surprised if Chisora hadn't been hit harder dozens of times in sparring that year alone.
