i guess the question is, at what point does a fighter lose his #1 spot for inactivity? i think that martinez has been out long enough to call ggg #1.

That's a bit harsh. He's been inactive through injury. And has a fight lined up

its not harsh, its just the reality. for example, what if he was injured for 2 years? or 3 years? at what point does he lose his status as #1? thats the question. i think that ggg has taken over. if sergio beats cotto then i have no problem with putting him back at #1.
