Heavy knockdown ref got it right, totally in agreement with your comments.
A brave effort, but that was a heavy knockdown. I can understand Appleby wanting to carry on, but do not understand Watt's initial criticism of the stoppage. Personally I think the ref had no choice, Appleby's legs were very shaky, last round or not.
