I always thought Cole was extremely comptent at doing everything he could to help the house fighter (Bute Andrade the most obvious example) which was why he kept getting the big fights. This is the first time he's gone against type.

A disgraceful showing all around by Salido and the ref was awful. It was a ballsy move for Lomachenko to take this fight. He showed toughness and he will learn form this.

The ref is supposed to be there to protect all fighters, not just be against the one that happens to be the least experienced.

Those low blows were disgraceful. I would ask for a no-contest.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Thought Bute-Andrade was Marlon Wright? Could be wrong. Anyways, I agree with your assessment of Cole except that I would argue that on that particular night, Salido was the "house" guy in the truest sense of the term. The building had a Pro-Salido attitude because I imagine people in Texas had a hard time rooting for a Russian.
