While guys in europe are making a big deal out of overrated loma fighting for titles in his second pro bout, asian fighters have been doing this shit since way back.. only difference is, super asian prospects actually win titles early!

although the difference is that when the asians do it, they fight against other asians who arent that good and have padded record. most people arent fighting somebody on salidos level their second fight.

i dont care about race, more the culture of boxing. when it comes down to it, most of these people who live in asia fight there exclusively which is fine, but their competition isnt as good. for example, chris john was a really good fighter but never left his country and failed to become great. you can exclusively fight in the US and be the best because the majority of the best fighters in the world come here to fight.

We saw a VERY average Japanese fighter, Yasutaka Ishimoto, beat on a former world champion, WV2, last year and later this year he fights Avalaos, Ishimoto is about the 4th best in Japan at 122.

i never said that some of them didnt want to fight bigger names. the original argument was that people were making a big deal about loma fighting salido for his second fight but people in asia fight good fighters in their early career all of the time. and i said that salido is a world class fighter unlike who this other guy is fighting for his second fight.
