VD, cigs dont get u high but that's not really why we smoke.. it is more like a bad habit and helps me think .. sometimes it calms me down too. Whenever my girl asks me why I smoke I tell her, girl im not smoking cigarette, im just smoking life...

Quitting leaves an opening to take it up again.
Everything is in your mind first, so become a non smoker say to yourself I dont smoke. its easy once you make your mind up for real, the rest is playing with the idea and you will even have built in secret excuses in your sub conscious for what will make you start again. Like some devastating family loss or boys out on the piss a car smash,whatever. think of things and bring them from your sub up into your concussions thought and deal with them now so they dont spring one on you later. Oh and brush your teeth after everything or use mouthwash at the least, otherwise the chemical reaction in your mouth will tell your brain its time to have a smoke. Oranges help too, straight after a snack or a meal.

If you are a beer drinker its harder so go straight whiskey if you are out and you wont feel the urge so bad. Better still give up the piss for while.

Put away what you would of spent on smokes each day and see what you got in a year and take that holiday to where ever you want with the cash,aim at the holiday or the reward for your effort.
