Fury needs to keep himself relevant and Chisora is gifting him that opportunity. Fury has not progressed at all the guy is a loud mouthed joke. Chisora is way more accomplished, brave, rounded and tested. Fury is a lucky nobody in the division. He does not deserve the chance to fight for the British and European titles. Look at Chisoras opponents and how much more deserving he is and yet gobby Fury has the cheek to think he is the name. Did Fury get robbed against an equally large Helenius for the blue belt? Who has fury fought? Scott? No, Haye? No, would he have went the distance with Vitali? Tyson bottled it and avoided Price, still hasn't fought Thompson,Wilder the guy is a joke. The minute he fought for the Irish title and dissed his place of Birth and the Lonsdale belt he should have forfeited permanently his right to ever fight for it again. Chisora has no power but he is fearless, Fury often looks like Bambi caught in the headlights, even against Abel he look worried at points, let alone being put on his arse by smaller men and constantly fouling because he is terribly unskilled and has no form. Colossal twat. Thompson would stop him but Fury will avoid him.

    I say Fury wins UD.

But I agree a prime Thompson likely stops him, but Pulev pressured him and got the win and I believe Fury would apply even more pressure than Pulev did.

Thompson did just beat a skilled Solis, but Fury won't sit and be the punch bag that Solis was.

Lots of different opinions here. Its a tough one for me too call. No doubt Fury would be the fav. He would of course have home advantage. Thompson isnt a big puncher that will fair well for Fury but at 6'5 Fury wont have as big a height advantage as he usually does and with his poor defense you would expect a taller man to be able to land easier. I think Id pick Fury to win a reasonable comfortable decision but may have a few scares along the way.

Fury would beat Thompson easy. Thompson's got no chance of making it the snails pace tempo he needs, he'd be under it from the off.

Lol @ the thought of Thompson beating fury.. u guys remember when he fought Mo Harris? Joe blow thompson is a fuckin slow sluggish bum.. I dont care if he won by 3rd rd KO cuz he looked so sad in the process.

Fury beats his ass 120%.... dont even have to think about this one.

The only things about Chisora that have changed are his body shape and his ability to absorb punishment. Those long fights taking shots against big men and good punchers in Fury, Helenius and Klitschko all came too early for him. Hes getting hurt in every fight now.

Furys right was looking good against Abell. He was taking it easy to get rounds and evry single time he upped the tempo down went Abell. When Peter Fury told him to get him out of there he did and it was easy. Abell had a few weeks to prepare for this fight unlike the few days he had against Pulev and he still couldnt last as long A big difference was Pulev was sharp and active and it was a showcase fight for him. Fury took it as a comeback fight after being fucked around twice along with thousands of others and actually getting so fucked off he felt like retiring and still did a better job than Pulev.

Fury looks sharp and remember the first fight? Chisoras weight is brought up a lot. Look at the first round when his fitness wouldnt have played much or a part. Fury hurt him a few times with nice left hooks and handled him easy, even taunting him (as he does).

This version of Chisora who gets hurt more often and doesn't have that weight to push Fury back any more will get stopped early by a much sharper Fury.

I'd have to pixk Fury, Thompson could out box Fury but I think he lacks the size (or at least physicality due to his age) and youth to get around the mauling and spoiling Fury would resort to if he was getting out boxed.

Probably would be similar to Cunningham, stands a better chance though... He's not a blown up cruiser.

I'd say Fury on points in an awkward fight.
