I dont think the Stevens stoppage was the worst either. He was just clumped on the ropes taking punches.
Cunningham was unlucky against Adamek and in some ways unlucky against Fury for use of his forearms so maybe you can just put it down to the world evening itself out haha. But I agree that the 6th round in this fight was crucial and Amir Mansour should of thrown the kitchen sink at Cunningham, instead he let Steve control the center of thr ring and regain composure.

Im not sayng it was a conspiracy but smoger is getting old and I believe he made the judgment with his heart rather than his head.. cmon bruh, they are human and feelings do get involved often times... like weve never seen this before?
Everybody knows what kind of struggles cunningham has been going through and how he's one of the hard working guys who was never able to catch a break... he's a likeable character who can easily be given a benefit of doubt. Smoger did him a favor..
SilkeyJoe, upon further review, yes, I agree that stevens-johnson stoppage was legit.....
I think fans get too caught up in the fact that johnson was winning most of the rounds and they feel sorry for him but rules are rules.... he was out on his feet and wasnt protecting himself along the ropes..
He gave the ref no choice but to stop the fight..
I didnt see a thread for it but just watch the Inoue fight. What did you think Finito? I though he looked great in the 1st 4 and then seemed to tire a bit. Looks to have a good chin and potentially a top P4P guy. He'll have to move up in weight though, only 2 or 3 interesting fights for him at light flyweight
I agree with your assessment, that's how I saw it too.. I think he might have got a bit overanxious given the magnitude of the fight and fatigue kicked in faster than usual.. Inoue is an offense first, defense second fighter so ive seen him hit many times before but ive yet to see him in serious trouble..
Considering the fact that he's a 20 year old kid in his 6th pro fight, he definitely exceeded expectations against a hardened champion..
I had enough respect for Hernandez to believe he would force the young challenger to earn a 12 round victory but Inoue certainly did alot better than I thought he would..
Ive been saying this for the past one year that Inoue is the next big thing and that he has the potential to surpass Ioka and Donaire... You are right bruh, he has p4p potential..
