I totally agree that people who blow money deserve no sympathy, but if this story is true (that Tito told his adviser not to risk his money, the adviser risked it anyway without his permission and lost it), then I feel terrible for him.
You're probably right, but at the same time dude was his financial adviser since 1990 or 1991, so I guess he did right by Tito for over 20 years before he flushed his money down the toilet.
That's a hard one man, Tito probably had full trust in the guy and got fucked over.
Either way I think there needs to be a distinction made between this situation with Tito and most other boxers who just flush their money down the toilet themselves. A guy like Holyfield or Tyson - guys who weren't happy living like kings and had to live like gods and spend crazy amounts of money on nonsense, and Holyfield who decided to impregnate 200 different women and owes crazy child support - they deserve no pity for that.
But if it was a trusted financial adviser that went against his wishes and fucked him, I feel bad for Tito. It's like going to a doctor, you just assume the doctor is good and knows whats best for you then he misdiagnoses you or perscribes you harmful medication.
