He got up and got on with the job. Good finish the guy is a wood chopper and Fury is still a bendy sapling.

Again, they already fought and Price couldnt hurt Fury back when he was a kid. He got dropped himself then stayed away.

    Fury would maul him now.

Come on Fury is pretty good really, he'd kick the living shit out of that idiot and knock him out good!!

How the hell could you really back Price against any real opponent that isn't a couple stone smaller!

Fury is beyond terrible. He is a gormless mug with no power. The sum total of his prowess is a big mouth and the ability to make himself seem even more stupid than he actually is.

Question Beanz , do you think Price hits harder than 206 lbs Cunningham who heavily floored fury ?

Probably not Cunningham is renowned as a true super heavyweight monster hitter. The guy has earth shattering power. It makes Furys win over him all the more impressive. I mean he is no Abel but the guy is a devastating puncher, if he had not smacked his own throat against Furys forearm and then pushed his own chin up and out for Tyson to punch he may have won. People like Chisora may have done 12 rounds with Vitali but it is embarrassing that such a seasoned and tried and tested fighter like Fury has to fight him. Look at Furys opponents, it's like a whose who of world class heavyweights. There may be no Aereola, Stiverne, Pulev, Helenius, Thompson, Price, Wilder, Adamek, etc but that is just because Tyson is just too good to lower himself to their level.

Because fury has been dropped by lighter hitters than Price in the pro ranks , and everybody knows Price didn't floor fury as an amateur , then maybe we can presume that fury has a weaker chin as a pro , than he did in the unpaid ranks.
Price hits harder than - Cunningham .
Cunningham floored fury - conclusion, fury has weak chin in the pro ranks , if you use logic.

Oh come on Dark Lord Al and Beanz..

I seen that decking from Cunningham, it was just a beautiful crisp shot and the only reason Fury got caught with it anyway was because the idiot was clowning around and ran full pelt at Cunningham with his hands waving like he was trying to scare him or something.

Dumb move from Fury but he was not really hurt from it all.

OF course Price is a hard puncher and of course Price hits harder than Cunningham and probably Fury as well! But Price is so fucking shit I can't see him getting the full leverage on a long armed shot against someone his own size like Fury.

As for Fury's boxing, he's bloody heaps better than Price! Fury puts together combinations and fights rough. He still has decent power because of his weight, he just concentrates more on the volume than on loading up on single shots.

As if that clunking, pawing, scared shitless idiot PRice would cut the mustard here.

What about vs Thompson? Thompson is not really a hard hitting HW either and he KO'd Price!

When I saw Price before the Thompson fights, I thought he could definitely win a version of the title.. the question marks for me were what's between his ears?, his chin and his stamina. He's a contender but I don't think he has the mentality to be a champion. He's a worrier. He does however, punch like a mule.

is this a Price v fury thread?

IMO price is a much better boxer than fury and every way

i dont know if i would bet on price in a price v fury fight tho , fury seems to be in a much better place mentally

i agree with this bold bit

the next sentence i dont agree with tho, he was hurt from it, he seemed groggy for the rest of the round

and i dont agree that price couldnt land on fury, price is a very good boxer and fury does get hit

You could say Price is cautious and yeah sure Fury does get hit.

Of course Price would be able to hit him. I don't think he would land a money shot on Fury though.

Obviously Fury would not clown around with someone like that. He had absolutely no respect for Cunninghams power.

yeah im sure he would be a lot more switched on against price than he was against cunningham, even if just for the cunningham experience

thing is in all of this, I think coz of the thompson fights Price is now underrated/overlooked and fury is generally overrated

i dont think fury has really proved himself against a good opponent yet and hasnt really looked amazing in beating the ones he has, dont get me wrong the cunningham fight was a good result

lets see how he does against chisora

Yeah it will be a good fight that one. Chisora is something of the gate keeper imo. He'll beat anybody not ready for serious contention. Chisora himself is often underrated. He has held his own in many of his fights pretty well. He could have got that decision against Helenius.

Fury vs Chisora is a pretty even match. If Fury cannot do it again it would cast a lot of doubt about him that's for sure.
