When Margarito was 18 years old, I saw him fight Alfred Ankamah. If my memory is correct, Ankamah was 14-0 with 14 KOs at the time. He hit Margarito with a killing punch to liver and Maragarito went down. He should have stayed down, maybe even died, because it was a vicious punch. I was ringside and I saw it. But he got up and stopped Ankamah. That had zero to do with 'loaded' gloves, but a whole lot to do with being tough. Not only physically but mentally.

THis is the kind of post I respect.. Not all this concrete bullshit. smh

With or without plaster, anybody who has followed Margarito's career would understand what he's about.

He built his career out of pure tenacity, heart, determination, ability to take punches, while dishing out his own assault.. He was able to beat talented opponents with these traits.. Punching power was never a big part of his game..

Plaster aint got shit to do with why he beats people's asses..

Clearly you're both big fans of Margarito and Greynotsoold has followed him from his early days, and that's great. But my point is that once you've been caught cheating, people are gonna doubt everything you've done before. It's no different to Ben Johnson and some of the Jamaican sprinters. Everything they've done has a question mark over it.

So by your logic we should question Mosleys win over Margarito because Mosley was previously found guilty of using PEDs? I'm not a big fan of his but he's fights were great to watch. He got caught TRYING to load he's gloves not after a fight but before. And he was punished for TRYING to load them not for using them in a fight. People act like its easy to get things past the commission and the opponents corner man during the wrapping of the hands. If it was so easy people like Paulie who also has only 7 KOs would have a lot more. Innocent until proven guilty come on peeps.
