This man is dangerous, he has great "black man" athleticism where he is super explosive and quick, and he won't stop throwing and landing bombs no matter how close the action is and how bad guys try to tie him up. I love guys like him who throw those clubbing, concussive shots from every angle and in the clinch. Some of those digs to the body looked like 70's George Foreman.

Porter rules. This is the kind of guy I wanna see in there vs Mayweather: a fast, athletic bomber who is strong in the clinch and will dig away to the body and the head and make it ugly.

Yeah I don't know why that's offensive... why would me saying that black men (in general) have greater athletic ability be offensive to black people? It's just true. Look at olympic sports that require great, explosive athleticism like 100m dash: how many white people do you see competing? And if they do compete, they are always left in the dust.

That's why many pitchers are white because pitchers are the most crucial part of the team and they must be smart.

This was the good fight on an otherwise crappy card. Porter gave a terrific performance.

It has to be asked. What did Paulie get out of signing with Haymon? To be set up for a beating by Porter? Let's be honest, from a styles perspective, Porter is the perfect foil for Paulie's boxer-style. What would be the upside if Paulie won? It's a fight that made no sense to me. If Paulie signed with Haymon for big fights, why fight Porter? I'm probably missing something.

Where does Porter go from here? Thurman? Garcia? Broner? Collazo-Khan winner?

Porter is absolute poison for Broner's style. If he thought he caught an ass whipping from Maidana, I think Porter will end up retiring him with 1000 clubbing blows to the head and body.

Overall fight was quite ugly,

Porter displayed solid double jab and apparent good right hand and leaping left hook.
Maybe he was too nervous. Also, Paulie is an awkward boxer, so Porter needed time adjusting to his style.
