    I stick with my initial reaction, it was a bad stoppage. If it was the 1st round roles reversed would feel the same way. We are not taking the shots, and we are not putting them out and we want to have confidence in the officials but it wasn't Johnson being bludgeoned on the ropes. It was a crisp hard hook, some missed follow up and Johnson still having mind to get the gloves up going to the ropes hard. Refs should have more tools at there discretion and yes that includes the 8 count or a flat count if ropes 'hold' a guy up. It may very well be that the biggest 'bad decision' is that there doesn't seem to be a huge push or cry for a needed rematch in what was one helluva fight. This is a commonsense must see rematch.
