I agree but floyd had real punching power at 140. At that weight, I consider him as a real boxer-puncher.

Aaron Pryor by unanimous decision, by KO if over 15

Like him or loathe him, Mayweather is the best defensive fighter i have ever seen. Hit and don't be hit is the old saying and Mayweather is a master at it. You have to be offensive too and that's exactly what Floyd Mayweather does, he is a brilliant ring strategist, he goes into every fight with plan A and a plan B in reserve. Mosley hit him big time and from that moment on he went to plan B and Sugar Shane never came close to scoring again. Pryor would be no different, he was also careless and probably would get stopped by Floyd. Pryor would've been a better fighter if he wasn't so hyper all the time. There was a time when i thought Pryor would've given Duran and Leonard very difficult fights,i've changed my opinion. Duran and Leonard beat him and so does Floyd Mayweather!

La Cockroachn you listen to me cuz imma give you a short and sweet history lesson.

Leonard never fought Pryor because he had bigger fishes to fry at 147, plain and simple.

Same with Duran. He didn't have time to fuck around with small fishes like Pryor.

Thanks for the lesson but it's sort of like saying I'm going to give you herpes no thanks . I agree there were bigger money fights but Leonard avoided Pryor and that is from the horses mouth. I worked as his security for the day when he visited my city a few years back and asked him about Pryor. Leonard said it would have been an extremely tough fight and he navigated around it for better financial options

Pryor took some monster shots from Arguello, which hides a simple truth about the rest of his career, that being that he went down more than once from walking into shots off balance. That would hurt him against a guy like mayweather.

My point is that you expect a feather fisted, safety first and brittle handed fighter to stop Pryor is crazy.

Yea, Im sure Leonard was so scared of Pryor yet he fought bigger and better fighters such as Duran, Hearns, Benitez and Hagler after years of layoff..

You can't duck somebody who is not in your weight class... Pryor was not a WW and Leonard was chasing the big dogs..

OH and I just remembered something.. Leonard did offer Pryor the biggest payday of his career at some point and Pryor turned it down.. FACT

You can't believe everything you hear on HBO Legenday Night because alot of that shit is untrue..

lol @ Leonard " ducking " pryor.. That shit dont even make any sense logically..

Floyd wasn't feather fisted at that weight, though. And he wasn't as safety first as he is now.

He was not a harder puncher than Alex.

    ADVANTAGE FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR.

Without Panama Lewis' "training" Aaron Pryor would have been blasted out by Arguello, simple fact!

Probably true which is why I said with the bottle he was invincible.
