Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
He can carry on. But we don't need a crystal ball to see he's had his one and only big time chance.
He ain't suddenly gonna turn into Mike Tyson over night is he?
He can maybe still get a decent pay day against Chisora!!
Better fighters have not gotten a 2nd chance.

Leapai seems like an alright guy ... it's not his fault boytsov and co were buying there way to a title shot and boytsov got comprehensively beaten by leapai... I think it's good that this happened.. well maybe not good but funny anyway, how many guys like boytsov have fast tracked their way to a title shot by taking on what are seen as bum fights for a silly belt... Good job leapai for derailing this nonsense..
I only ever saw leapai fight boytsov before the wlad fight, he looked alright, if he keeps dedicated to the sport he could be in some interesteing contests maybe.. Get him v big daddy browne I say..

How about a fight with Lucas Browne down under? Or a rematch with Mark de Mori.
Lucas Browne is perhaps just as terrible, that would make sense as a domestic clash for both I'm sure.
Can anyone can name a fighter in any weight class who got more than one title shot and was not either clearly better or more accomplished than Lepai, though? I doubt anyone should spring to mind, this guy is really bad.

All I'm saying it that Leapai has managed to eclipse his literal 15 minutes of 'fame' by 2:05.

Not even sure I remember his fights with Norris, but going by old trusty boxrec he only received one title shot before that "trilogy". BS or not he beat Norris twice, those second two fights were defences not challengesAnd I very much doubt he was anywhere near as shit as Lepai

Lepai will get more pay days because he's a beatable opponent and has just been in with Wlad. Someone like Wilder will fight him next and try and get him out a round or two before Wlad managed to try and look credible.

seriously? this total bum never even tried. he gave up instantly and knew it was only a payday. I'm the same size as leapai and I woulda put up a better fight than this so called fighter. truly pathetic was the effort he put into this fight.....
Yeah it's just that simple isn't it. Your a complete fool. "I would have done this and that" is all EVERY opponent has to say. But come fight time that plan goes hay wire doesn't it.
Why do you think that is? After being punished by ramrod jabs for everything you do, everytime you move for a few rounds whatever plan you had would be out the window and you will just stand there in front of him, ready to be knocked out!

Those who do not learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it endlessly.
The Klits have completely cleaned out the heavyweight division, which is as bereft of talent as I've ever seen it.
They are reduced to a 21st Century 'Bum of the Month' club, just as other dominant heavyweights had to do ...... Louis against Galento, Ali against Jean Pierre Coopmans.
Galento is the best comparison, a tubby unskilled street fighter with decent power and not much else, going in with a supremely conditioned talented athlete. Didn't really deserve to be there, but the Champ wanted a payday.
Why are we surprised or even particularly condemnatory..... This will happen over and over again during our lifetimes.
