seriously? this total bum never even tried. he gave up instantly and knew it was only a payday. I'm the same size as leapai and I woulda put up a better fight than this so called fighter. truly pathetic was the effort he put into this fight.....

Yeah it's just that simple isn't it. Your a complete fool. "I would have done this and that" is all EVERY opponent has to say. But come fight time that plan goes hay wire doesn't it.

Why do you think that is? After being punished by ramrod jabs for everything you do, everytime you move for a few rounds whatever plan you had would be out the window and you will just stand there in front of him, ready to be knocked out!

I think leapai was just a bit naive in his preperation for this fight, it is much easier to say you are going to rush klitschko and get him on the inside.. Getting whacked in the face by wladimir a few times is enough to slow anyone down I'd guess, early knockdowns of povetkin, chagaev and now leapai show this, all these guys eased off a bit after taking a a hit and knockdown from wlad.. I thought leapai was pretty tough he took a fair few hard punches and got up from the floor twice.. Bit unfair to call him a lazy bum or whatever, the guy got a good win v a lesser opponent than wladimir and was made mandatory, he just isnt a world class fighter, no shame in leapais performance, he was just outclassed by a very big man.

whatever, there were no strong punches thrown at wlad. NONE!! all slow meaningless pit pat punches. it was lame. and yes, I REPEAT, my fat ass woulda put up a better fight and woulda had more courage to step in and and at least try, despite ole glass jaws ever present lame ass jabs, which i thought were slow and boring as usual. Jameel Mccline woulda whupped this guy!

Lepai fought terribly n didn't try to win. But, one jab from Wlad would put you in la la land.

Same goes for most of us on this forum. Wlad's boring but he hits hard enough to quickly discourage big, tough, mean professional fighters.

McCline woulda beat that guy prime, I'd say probably not now. Klitschko comprehensively beat both.

Wlad's heaps fast and powerful. Leapai would have tried to land some hurtful bombs but fuck me look at the mountain he had to climb to land anything, literally. It was of absolutely no surprise that Alex was nil effective.

Yeah and if your fat ass tried to take more chances you probably would not have made it past the first round. There's a reason why his opponents are generally quite tentative.

So Wlad bashes an opponent clean and simple and it's STILL not good enough!

Chagaev was a great opponent, solid pro record, one of the greatest amateur records out there, very good fighter and strong boxer. Yet completely outclassed and then knocked out by Klitschko.

And yes, even though the Povetkin fight was something of a disgrace with all the holding, in between all that it was STILL a dominant performance!

you praise the povetkin fight? omg. dude. that was the worst shit ive ever seen boxingwise. i had a whole houseful of people pissed and making fun of wlads performance. wlad fights like a scared little weakling, when he should fight like what he is. a monster!!! the haye fight? wlad was just as bad as haye! jab jab. lame!!! id be throwing vicious right hands and ko'ing every MF i fought if i was that big n' strong. he is truly a TERRIBLE champion. id rather see briggs, wilder, or even unskilled arreola fight. at least they have a bit of fire in them. not content to jab and hold all night, just to get a UD snorefest.
heavyweights are supposed to be exciting..... and even now, mcline would still kick leapais ass. thats how bad wlads opponent is.
its almost as bad as Roy Jones fighting the cop or garbageman.

I am not praising the Povetkin fight. I said it was terrible. I just said it was a dominant performance, Povetkin achieved nothing and Wlad still punched his head in pretty decent, amongst all the man humping lol.

The Haye fight has been labelled a stinker and it definitely wasn't the greatest fight to be sure. But I personally found it to be a watchable fight. No I wouldn't watch it over again like other fights but to me it was an example of a very skilful fight between 2 hws who were more than capable of hurting each other and very good technical boxers. I would be safety first against Haye too and Wlad.

If you prefer to watch punch bags.. You will need to build a time machine. The punch bag eras are long gone now because anybody who fights like that now will find themselves quickly knocked out.
