I've read a few pieces on this that seem to suggest many of the Haymon fighters don't actually have contracts with GB. That's why you see Oscar at many of these events but he only gets in the ring for GB fighters, hence not at all last weekend.

Interesting. So, GB is promoting fighters that it doesn't have contracts with? Does any other promotion company do that?

Khan has signed with Hayman? It seems that there is a new power house promoter in town.

I'm not sure. I had assumed all fighters had a direct contract with a promoter until I read otherwise. And I have no inside information directly tied to that aspect. The only inside info I have is my friend did the foreign investment portion of the SLS remodeling and they had a massive surplus for the foreign side so he did a cost/benefit analysis of a LV stadium project. That gave him access to fight/concert/etcetera revenues I helped analyze. As I was only consulting I had limited access though. I'm sure he would have a better knowledge of it all but it might be illegal for him to disclose.

No, Schaefer is a side chick of Al Haymon. The biggest idiot of boxing promotion history.

Oscar seems clueless about what is going on under his feet.

He's spent most of the last few years off his tits. It's only natural that Schaefer should start wanting to own the show as well as running it.
