Which just goes to show how misdirected pre-fight hype can be. Maidana brought the fight to Floyd, actually made it exciting. The hyped Floyd-Canelo "showdown" is now being sold as an over-the-counter cure for insomnia.
Canelo was very disappointing but I think Floyd took more chances against Chino because it was at his weight.



Good point. But weight notwithstanding, Chino is a renowned big puncher. The threat of damage to Floyd was still there. The difference is, like Cotto, Chino pressed into Mayweather... making him go into the offensive to fend him off. He didn't just stand and plod through the middle of the ring while Floyd boxed circles around him (ala Canelo).
