I have watched the fight and I had it 7-5 to Maidana. I think Floyd chose to stand his ground, thinking Chino would not be good enough. Next time Floyd will box to an easy victory. I do not think Floyd has got old he did the same with Cotto, he stood more and traded because he knew he could. He would not do that against Canelo, who is too big and strong.

I think Floyd struggles because he is God in human form....but then again some Floyd fans might not find that praise high enough

I don't think he struggled that much. It was a dirty dog fight and Maidana did the best he could with what he had. I'm sure we will see it again in Sept because there are really no options besides Pac and the soon to be fasting Amir Khan. If the so called controversial scoring storyline continues strongly until then we will have another fight where Floyd will make it look easier the next time around. Keep riding the Maidana wave.

I agree, Floyd will run more and not engage as much. Chino needs to punch Floyd is the dick some more and rough him up.

It has always been my opinion that dick punching is severely underrated. Its highly effective.

I was thinking that myself master. If a rematch happened it might be similar as to what Chavez did to Vera in the rematch, a completely different fight. But I'm not sure, Chino is not Vera. Chino May not allow Mayweather to dictate the pace even though Floyd has studied him. It would be very interesting to see, Floyd is very good at figuring out opponents so what you say could very well happen but Chino could surprise us again. It says a lot about this fight that a rematch was being discussed seriously while both fighters were in the ring.

When Floyd boxed he won the fight, when he chose to lay on the rope he got mauled. The fight is about perception, Floyd was not landing much boxing and he was not getting battered when he was on the rope but it looked like he was losing.
