So I'm not optimistic about our chances but here's hoping
As an English man I hope Ghana win the group

Surely this is the tournament for Brazil, and maybe the one where Neymar really shows that he deserves to be counted among the best in the world.

I'd also like to see Mexico do well, they always seem to get forgotten, but are a decent side, although they did have a few hiccups in qualifying.

Looking forward to the 2014 EPL World Cup. I think either Brazil or Barcelona will win it.

For the first time since 1982 I have sod all expectation from England – maybe it’s for the best.

Can’t argue with his squad selection mind - then again there was probably little alternative to the 23 he picked given the lack of the premier league’s home grown talent. I hope the new propositions the FA had for the English league come into force, that will help our national team a lot.

Can’t see anyone beyond Brazil and Argentina winning – the climate will suit them

Manchester City will block Yaya Toure from moving over birthday snub
Toure's agent Dimitry Seluk claims the player is 50-50 on staying at City
Toure was presented with two cakes and received over 250,000 Facebook likes after club wished him happy birthday
Seluk drew comparisons with Roberto Carlos being gifted a Bugatti Veyron on his birthday by Anzhi Makhachkala
City owners' 100kg cake on winning the Premier League also annoyed
Ivory Coast midfielder is also said to be tempted by a return to Barcelona

Rios around 20 so fairly hot. Up north its terrible though, they have to play in the middle of the jungle in the afternoon for the tv ratings to be maximised. When England play Italy in Manaus humidity is at 99%

Did you see the England players training wearing layers of clothing to get use to the humidity?

Is the world cup on mainstream TV in Canada and the USA?

Absolute heartbreak. I'm proud of the guys, Belgium is simply the better team, but they never gave up and played with heart for 120 minutes.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
