Don't tell Ron Swanson- he hates analytical thinking.
Better than handing large sums of money off to Arum and Kroncz

I agree, it's probably one of the worst ways to help a homeless person. Many of them have dependency issues and some have mental problems too.
I like the gesture whether it came from the heart or not, it's just over the top.
I have a daughter in-law who keeps bags prepared for anyone who has their hand out. No money, just food.
Items and meals are good but I've no problem with handing off a couple of bucks. I've been on both sides, have had a hand out for a short time and have done the handing out. Its the amount of a 1k and it is self promotion regardless of who it is. You hand a guy standing in the middle of the street in Vegas 1k, lights shining cameras rolling when he obviously is in a bad way, shocked and a bloody nose..and then drive away patting yourself on the back thats all well and good but you might as well put a bullseye on his forehead. He's back in a pack mentality when the cameras are off talking it up and chances are he likely got jumped and had the shit kicked outta him for it. There was a program in VB where instead of large cash contributions were handled in gift cards, pre paid public transportation, Taxis, Wal Mart or Cosco. Half of that could see a couple of weeks in a Budget Inn or the like. 1k when you have absolute jackshit can create foundation and stability enough to jump start. It is of course all moot if there is the underling issue of substance abuse, mental illness etc. Its a decent gesture but its manipulative at the same time and until the empty pair of boots that is Broner stops whipping his ass with the same amount it falls flat to think him some saint.

When I was in my teens (like 10 years ago) we did charity events and raised money for the homeless.

We donated anonymously to the place we aimed to help. We at no stage involved a video camera.

    Good gesture, but wrong reason.
    You say tomato,
    ‘n I say …… it correctly.

Listen, I'm not a fan of Broner, almost everything he does out of the ring annoys me in one way or another plus he plays the clown in the ring, too.
If Broner had given this person anything under one hundred dollars everyone would de talking about what a cheap prick he is. If the cameras weren't around that's what he might normally do, of course it's anybody's guess what normal is for Broner.
What I'm trying to say is that if a camera is around Broner will be trying to do something over the top, it's his nature.
Broner can't win, if he gives too much or too little he's screwed and that's probably ok with him because his name is being mentioned.

The money card is an excellent idea!
