Sorry to disappoint Groves fans but he isn't coming back strong. He's going to fade into mediocrity, mark my words. A couple comeback wins, people will be excited about him again, and he'll get spanked when he steps up.

I think the opposite is true. He more than held his own for large portions of both fights against a far better and more experienced fighter than most people fight at his age. You have already damned him before he has even announced his next opponent. You sound like a casual sports fan not a boxing fan.
Oi, I told everybody leading up to the fight that Georgie didn't have the goods and Froch was going to mop him up and it happened. Casual fans are the ones who go OH GEORGIE IS SO GREAT and then when he loses OH GEORGIE IS SHITE. I told you he was shite from the beginning. Thats insight mate.
I thought it was a good fight, groves had respect for frochs fitness and punch power which made him think twice about exchanging.
Froch took his time and wasn't troubled even when groves landed froch just comes on stronger
Big win for Froch and bigger paydays are on the way. I hope Carl is saving his money. At his age it won't be long before it's over. I love a guy like Calzaghe who had enough brains to walk away with all his marbles and money in his pocket.
Didn't see the first fight. This one seemed exciting. I always liked Froch. Groves left himself wide open. I always appreciate the UK fans. You guys have an electric atmosphere. Anyway, congrats to all the Froch fans. If Groves doesn't add some defense to his rapport I fear for him

I like that Kelle Sauerland has taken on the management contract of Groves, and that he brought Marco Huck over with him. England v Germany is where so many of the world's battles are to be found at the moment, and having Groves on his books may still prove to be a very good business deal for him.
I'm really disappointed with Groves' performance. He fought like a guy who was scared of running out of gas rather than someone who had come to take the champion's belts. After watching that, it's obvious that the way he faded in the first fight was weighing heavy on his mind and he simply didn't do enough or take the fight to Froch. There just seemed to be a real lack of ambition from Groves.
It was a very disappointing fight after all the hype as well. The crowd were even booing at one point.
Fair play to Froch though. That was a great punch. Groves deserved to get sparked for coming out in a fucking bus as well. The twat!
Tysonesque, It wasn't lack of ambition it was lack of opportunity as Carl was a lot more conservative this time.

froch was brilliant. the way he waited and conserved his strength for later rounds. i was wondering WTF he was doing by being so unaggressive early on. but now i see. wait for dude to tire a little, and get some great body blows in to slow him down, then whammo!! what a punch!!! WOW!!!
groves did well, but he should try to not be such a douche for real. talks too much smack.
he aint got shit to say now i reckon....
