Ok. Nitpick if you like . Of Course we're stupid because as you point out "nothing is impossible" I'll tell you what's stupid, trying to justify a fight when someone has a "10% chance of landing a big shot". You know what we mean .

10% is being generous. i would say that its probably south of 5% that he will land a shot and KO ward.

i would be very surprised if froch beat ward.

I suppose you would have to give him a punchers chance, that shot he landed on Groves would have put anyone down. However that's also the problem as I don't see him being able to land a shot like that on Ward, he is too quick and too clever. I reckon it would just be a similar fight and similar outcome to their first match

If Ward were to dislocate a shoulder or sprain a knee than the fight would be stop in Froch favor. So yeah Froch has a chance
