Can froch ever beat Ward?

Maybe if Ward goes into the fight with two broken hands then Froch has a chance.

Ward has the Hopkins-like ability to take away the jab of fighters with very good jabs. Without the jab Froch is just a slow-footed fighter with rubbish technique albeit hard/tough/warrior blah blah. Froch didn't beat a pound for pound guy last weekend, Groves hasn't shown he can even last twelve rounds at world level yet. Ward is on another level to Froch, or at least the pre shoulder injury pre layoff Ward was.

You can never say never but he has a slim chance of winning. I like the way Froch and Hearn are trying to pretend ward does not exist, or say he will not fill a stadium because they know Froch will not beat Ward.

I watched the ward vs froch fight again and gave it 9-3 ward.

Froch was still strong in the last round but that really meant nothing to the overall picture.

Froch takes so many shots and I dont see him beating ward no matter how much I like them both.

The shoulder injury was somewhat of an excuse because since his shoulder injury, Ward doesn't use that arm very much.

To the OP's question, no, Froch cannot beat Ward on most days. Ward is the best of this era's super middleweights, and Froch is the second best. Ward should move up in weight. Froch probably has put together a HOF career by the way.

He certainly can, now is the time to do it, he is at the very peak of his career, he wants to go out ona high and I think froch will beat him.
