About 80% of the time Martinez can't punch because his feet aren't positioned to. His legs look really bad

Clean hook buzzed Martinez, he's landing clip shots too but everytime he throws left the leg feels it. Martinez has to bank on right hand and calm the fuckin scrambled movement. Working his own legs as much as Cotto is taxing it
With about 15 seconds left in the 3rd Martinez threw a punch and it looked liked his legs nearly collapsed.
Yea sergio should have retired legs gone can't punch with power, chavez fight was his swan song
wonder how it will look when cotto gets tired
Has anyone given Martinez a round?
I feel bad being so negative because Cotto looks great.
I don't think Sergio will be able to sit down and land the power punches to hurt cotto. I hate seeing champs go out like this
I think that's a stretch, he doesn't strike the sort to simply come in for payday. His pride and ego have gotten him in trouble prior and its taken the post injury to make him see the extent of it. But he sure as shat didn't just come in for a pension and excepting hes at the end
All over.
You've forgotten more about boxing that I know but they must have known his mobility wasn't what it was before. Maybe once he'd signed the contract he didn't want to back out in case he'd have to pay previous earned money out or he thought it'd be alright on the night.
He's a long time retired though. The payday must have played into the calculations.
Mayweather-Cotto on deck.
Fighter knows himself beyond a corner or yesmen, for sure. Boxers fight for money and prize fighting. But the way he has conducted himself in and out of the ring...fighting when hit, hurt and down on numerous occasions...I cannot buy at all he cashed out and doubted himself. No need for that
Not sure I watch this thru twelve
