For all his bullshitting Haye is very unlikely to be afraid of Fury. Why would he be? Fury is all mouth and no trousers, the guy is as deluded as his fans.

    Your kidding yourself.

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

Haye stalled for weeks before signing. (It was Booth that wanted the fight, he called Peter fury and asked if they were serious and the fury's agreed and signed fairly quickly when you consider the size of the fight. Groves, Froch was a big fight in England but Fury, Haye would have been known about over the world. Haye took weeks to sign becuase he didnt really want it.)

Then Haye pulls out with an orchestrated injury, his only valid excuse at that point.

Then after rescheduling he pulls out with some carefully worded statements on how he had been advised to retire. Purposefully prompting everyone to assume he was retiring so the fight had a valid reason not to happen, Which even you naive bunch knew was bullshit! You knew he'd be back but don't want to accept that he's full of shit and didn't fancy his chances against Fury.

Finally he has now publicly stated he doesn't want to ever face Fury with the weakest ever excuse of not wanting to give Fury a payday, which is majorly cutting his nose off to spite his face as he's not making £5 million against the opponents available that he's willing to face.

Haye doesn't want to lose to Fury because the perception is that he's shit and it discredits all Hayes "achievements".

Fury gets unfairly criticised on his boxing ability. In fact hes almost being treated as an underdog against Chisora because now Chisora is in shape... Don't forget, Fury was only 22 when he beat Chisora and now he's a stronger more physically mature 25 year old.
