Yes 100% correct insofar as the second conflict was concerned. But the first one (The Gulf War) was one that did require our attention and intervention if for no other reason than the Carter Doctrine.
Now these imbeciles are talking about sending "advisers" in. That's what we did in Viet Nam in the beginning, Can't we ever learn from history?
