Not to Ward, he's plainly dissatisfied with the way things are going. He's not getting the big fights, the money, or the fame he wants.
like winky wright, he may have talent, bnut will never be recognized./ never make the big bucks.
Ward is making bigger bucks than GG and Kovalev.

    Hell

Ward's last OPPONENT made more than those two ever have.

GG and Kovalev!!! You have to be joking, right? Ward has his sights set much higher! Ward doesn't care about those two, he wants and thinks he deserves what Floyd has!
I'm not saying Ward isn't an exceptional talent or doesn't deserve to be champion but he fights with a boring style. Like it or not and whether it's right or wrong, most fans think that Ward's fighting style is boring.
When Ward was first starting out and during the tournament, his style wasn't discussed much because few expected him to be around long.
Well, he's here to stay and the fans have already seen enough of his style to last them a while. Too bad he wasn't born in England, they love winners there no matter how it's done, of course you have to be a Brit.
Is Ward ever going to be as popular as Floyd or Hopkins? I don't think so, he would have to change his fighting style plus it would help if he talked a lot of trash. Is Ward ever going to be an ATG? I don't know, it depends on how long he fights, in my opinion.

    Imagine.

If ward was british his style wouldn't matter..they would love him.

And if he was from Ukraine he would be hated.
But because he is american its just about tolerated.

    Ward is the truth.

Ward is not as boring as Calzhage...and ya'll love him.

Ward would be the most exciting fighter in boxing if he was fighting the trash on GG and kovalev's resume.

If Ward were from the Ukraine they'd love him the way they love Lomenchenko and those Klit robots.

that's not true, Britain has had long standing world champions before that nobody cared about for that very reason

The Brits support their athletes as well or better than most countries. That's a good thing in my opinion.
Outside the ring, I like Ward more than any other boxer. Inside the ring, I don't appreciate his talent as much as I should. I'm not apologizing, that's just the way it is.
I like to see Ward win but it's damned hard to watch at times.

If he fought Froch again and KOd him and then beat GGG, he would get the greatness he seeks. As it is, he is dangerously close to becoming rusty and vulnerable. He needs a tune up and then big one.

Sorry if hate white people i guess i not sure what else it could be about it.
    Oh stop crying.

    Compared to Ward and Mayweather,

Vlad and Calzhage ARE shit...as you well know.

If Vlad and Joke were Black you'd be rolling across the floor laughing at that trash.

We're not hard-up for hero's like ya'll are...we don't have to prop up any and everything that oozes between the ropes for lack of quality fighters.

The bar is set much higher in the US.

Look at all Mayweather has done and he still gets stick...compare his career to Joe's if you want a good laugh.

Floyd's career is better than Joe and Vlad's combined...same with his skills.
Shows what I know. I thought Ward was white and I still dont like him. Hes a great boxer but dont enjoy his style.
I'd rather watch Ward than Joe Calzhage..

    So would you.

Hell I'd rather watch Sven Ottke than The Welsh Rabbit.

    Ottke laid Mundine out COLD.

Joe never score a flat out KO.

Kessler couldn't stop Mundine and he's supposed to be all that.
Ottke was feather fisted and it was a freak shot that knocked out Mundine. Ottke never did it again.
He never did it again but Joe never did it AT ALL.

Not as featherfisted or cowardly as The Welsh Rabbit

Ottke had the balls to fight Glenn Johnson.

Beating GG isn't a prerequisite for greatness...nor is KOing Froch.

    C'mon now.

Ward is younger than Golovkin and Froch...if anybody is getting rusty it's them.

I don't know of it's just youth or something Ward does during training but long layoffs don't seem to bother him as much as you would expect.
