We kind of cant argue with what we got. I for one simply wanted to end a game knowing that the players on the pitch gave it a good go and they did. Technical shortcomings aside we tried and save for a massive slice of good fortune we'll be out at the group stage. Question marks over Gerrards place for me, I really dont see what he offeres England. The raking 40 yard balls seldom come off, he doesnt pose any real attacking threat and he doesnt have the will/skill to dictate from the middle, he's a passenger for me.
