It's a close call but Lara made his eye look like a hammerhead shark and he also made him quit. Canelo mangled him too but got a stoppage that Angulo disagreed with. Lara was knocked down though too. 2x

Lara's fight with Angulo took time and there was a lot of back and forth between the two men.
Canelo wailed on him until he was destroyed.
Kirkland?
It had to be a brutal beating knowing you landed your best, dropped and mauled a pure boxer..and then he went on to break your face and make you turn away and opt out.
At the very end, he was actually still trying to bomb it out with Alvarez and shouldering the trouble for it enough
Kirkland, then Lara who did the damage to the eye, and Alvarez picked up the pieces
Angulo's bone structure, around his eyes, makes him susceptible to cuts and swelling, so anyone who is capable of landing some good punches there is going to make him bleed and probably swell.
If I was trying to decide who is going to win between Canelo vs Lara, I'd stay focused on the fact that Canelo was in complete control when he fought Angulo and Lara wasn't.
Am I saying Alvarez is going to win? No! No.1, I'm terrible at predicting winners. No.2, we all know that anything can happen in a fight. lol. I'm such a weasel!
On July 13 there won't be any "good win for Alvarez" talk. But there will be a lot of "Lara was overrated" and "Lara was never really that good" talk
no, I meant cause of the broken Orbital bone, or at least the one Angulo claimed to have suffered against Lara, the same injury Margarito likes to crutch on, so just as pussies like Venereal Disease like to claim that the only reason Cotto slaughtered Margarita well it'd be the same thing for Alvarez, the one who put the damage on Angulo was Lara, hence Alvarez just picked up the pieces
