Cotto v. Canelo - Make it happen

A great fight to make. I think Canelo fits into the weight division easily as he was huge against Lara. I think Alvarez will fight someone like Kirkland first.

I doubt Alvarez would go anywhere near Kirkland.

I don't think so either. Alvarez is only looking for competitive fights. Kirkland doesn't take a good punch any more.

I'd see Alvarez stopping Kirkland

As would Lara and Cotto.


Kirkland is a beast, but he's a beast with no defense, who starts super slow and can't take a good punch.


That last kid he beat the hell out of was nowhere near a top 20 fighter.

I agree which is why I feel it is the perfect smoke and mirrors fight for Canelo Kirkland still has some name value and brings a hint of danger, an exciting style and I think it would be an easy fight to sell
