In the 1990s, NFL football player Mark Gastineau took up Boxing and was being featured on Tuesday Night Fights and so on just because he was already famous.

Carefully selected low-level opponents, but the dude still got bopped all over the ring by Tim Doc Anderson who was just a pudgy journeyman boxer who was often picked as an opponent by old fighters on the comeback trail looking for a win like Foreman, Coetzer, Holmes.

Gastineau was a great athlete, but he didn't have any of the instincts of a fighter.
Tim Doc Anderson wasn't even a good fighter, but he was still a fighter though.

Doc Anderson had his own story involving murder and incarceration later.
