I wouldn't use the word excited as much as interested. I usually don't care about HW fights but I think that if Jennings can look impressive, he might actually become a real contender. Perez didn't impress in his last fight so we will see if he impresses this time.

Yeh I think you're right. As far as up and coming heavyweights I'm stoked about this one. Could turn into a very sharp inside battle, both have top boxing brains and are accurate hitters. Jennings is deceptive off the ropes and he should keep it smart early and pick his shots later, the guy is a solid combo puncher. The big question is the intensity level of Perez.

It's a really good match, skill-wise I can't think of a better top level fight that could be made at HW. Both have good hands and counter very well for big men, but Jennings has much better legs in my eyes. He can probably lead, get in and out, set traps etc a lot better, at least from what I gather. Will be interesting to see who is able to hurt the other first, if at all.

Bryant Jennings in contrast to Fury is a class act. He has respect for great boxers like Wladimir Klitschko, he's always in great shape, he's not vulgar and instead of empty boasts, he lets his fists do the talking in the ring.

I'll be rooting for Ustinov and Jennings on Saturday. I'd enjoy seeing Alexander Ustinov KO Tyson Fury - it would be nice to see his big arrogant mouth get shut for awhile.

I've been wanting to see Ustinov, and more of Perez and Jennings, it's going to be a good night of boxing.
I do disagree with you, a little, about Fury. Most of his trash talking is about aggrandizing himself, crap like "I'm a real man! you've never seen a man like me." or "I'm the best fighter in the world." He also likes to turn over tables, talk with a foul mouth, be the absolute center of attention, and disrespect everyone in the room, not just the other fighter. He is definitely a showman!
We've all seen some vicious, harsh, mean spirited trash talk, but I don't think Fury's fits into that mold, and deep down I like the guy. He likes to fight and give the fans their money's worth.
Would I like to see Fury getting off the canvas again? Hell yeah, I want to see someone really test him!

Jennings is a great fighter. He has a good jab, he's athletic, and he can work the body.

I thought Seth Mitchell was the next great thing and I was wrong.

Jennings is already a contender. I have him rated as the best American HW contender today- ahead of Wilder, but behind Stiverne.

Jennings should win a lopsided decision against Perez.

Perez looked pony last time out. I don't think it was because of the Mago fight, it's just that he's a bit of a dodge pot, all depends on what mood he's in.

I'm more interested in this fight than Golovkin-Geale.

I like the jab of Jennings, but he could use it more I agree with most that if a determined Perez shows up will should get an entertaining scrap

Lol yeah I considered that. The guy seems totally indifferent and lazy, You would think that if there was one time to take his craft seriously it would be this fight.
