I'm in no way agreeing with Cyclone. But you can't compare PPV numbers from then to now. PPV availability has jumped astronomically.

It's maybe doubled in household numbers since DLHstarted PPVing. But the context of the discussion is just pure numbers. 350k as a debut, especially on Showtime which has 60% of the households that HBO has is a serious number.

But they won't dare put him on PPV unless he's the B side player. Mayweather himself knows his numbers shit ain't without Mexicans. It's the reason why he always fight on Cinco de Mayo. And it's the reason why Devon Alexander, Shawn Porter or Keith Thurman are never seriously considered as opponents. Mayweather knows he fights another black fighter and his PPV don't crack 300,000.
