GGG has to become undisputed middleweight champion before he can move up. He has Cotto and Quillen to be called undisputed.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Nonsense and poppycock. I never called Floyd a coward or a bitch. Already you are labelling everyone here that disagrees with you with the same lazy brush. Any rational boxing fan on this planet could hardly fail to notice Floyd's skills but Floyd in this instance has nothing to do with it. Ward and his team have shut nobody up. GGG is fighting Ward is just talking. You son are all mouth and no trousers. If being willing to fight ANYBODY in your own weight division is not being willing to challenge yourself then you have no interest in any kind of sane conversation and are happy to simply throw poop at your cell walls. Nobody here is your enemy so stop building up a wall of bullshit form which to launch false accusations. This is a boxing forum and as such attracts fans of the noble art. Those people are likely to know a decent fighter when they watch him at work and Golovkin is surely that. You may not rate him highly but childishly dismissing him because you think Black, American or any other kind of Boxers have been slighted by people who can appreciate Golovkin is just dumb. Floyd and Golovkin are not mutually exclusive fan clubs like some kind of blood group. You are mistaking people enjoying fighters as rabid, blinded nut hugging fans and people who can enjoy boxers but still spot their flaws as crazy prejudiced haters. Chill out and enjoy the fact that you have something in common with people once in a while before starting a playground spat with every other post.
This talk of GGG moving up to fight Ward, why not Ward move down to fight GGG? I thought Ward said he would go down to 160 to fight Mayweather? I hope GGG fights Ward but I dont see the point now. According to Cyclone he has fought nobody at 160, so why move up in weight without doing anything at your natural weight? Ward has cleaned up at 168 which is why Ive suggested he move up to fight Kovalev or the likes. Floyd is obviously a great fighter but he, like Ward, has to keep all the advantages, even when he moves up in weight. Alvarez can barely make 154 let alone 152, he makes a catchweight of 144 against Marquez who had never even fought at 140 before and then came in 2 pounds over that limit, he fought Hatton at Welter rather than Hattons best weight of Light welter.
What frustrates me about all this is that even if he gave away the advantage, fought Alvarez at 154, Marquez at 140 or Hatton at 140 he wins easily. But he doesnt take any extra risk. Hes fought at 154 before so there is no reason if GGG will make the 154 limit that he doesnt fight him. If Ward or any fighter in the world said he would fight GGG at 160 and GGG turned it away I would criticise him but that hasnt happened.
EDIT: I'll just stay out of the argument. It seems this Cyclone user is a race baiting troll.
I love GGG but he's not beating Ward - at 160 or 168.
A Golovkin fan should be the last person to talk about taking risks.
Floyd has moved up PLENTY times....
Why not GG?
I mean,since he's soooo good.
GG was ready to fight Jr at 168 but not Ward...that's a bitch move.
Ward MADE gg's camp shut up that "we'll fight anybody from 154 to 168" shit.
Time for GG to take some risks and challenge himself.
I agree it is a bitch move. And what it comes down to is money. GGG hasnt made millions. He needs some financial security before taking risks. Floyds movement up in weights has been against average fighters or has beens. And in each case hes used weight to his advantage. Hes never, nore will he ever, step up to fight a top P4P guy like GGG. At least some day GGG still might fight Ward after hes made some dosh.
But if this is a bitch move then how is Ward being willing to fight Floyd at 160 and not GGG at 160 not a bitch move. It is but comes down to money again fior me so Im fine with it. Floyd however has no excuse.
sure are a lot of double standards in this thread, coming from both sides. Very few fair posts. Looks like folks are just looking for an argument.
