Cotto is nuts if he fights Chavez Jr.
That's a short 154 lber vs a huge 168 lber.
He'd have virtually no chance of winning. It would be like Margarito vs. Cotto all over again minus the plaster wraps.

Yeah it's amazing how quickly perspectives are lost in boxing. Talk about a weight difference at fight time. Junior could easily outweigh Cotto by 30-35 pounds by fight time. Junior has the height and frame to fight at light heavy, whereas Cotto is pushing his body's boundaries fighting at 160.
GGG is now the biggest name in boxing, if Cotto, Alvarez, Quillin or anybody else wants a massive payday and capture the hearts and minds of every boxing fan on the planet then stop fucking around and get in the ring with GGG. The Middleweight division has lacked a real super champion with charisma since the days of Hagler, nobody mention Hopkins please, he was a very good ordinary fighter, but awkward to watch. It was uncomfortable watching Hopkins. Not so GGG, this guy is a monster, he talks like Borat and punches like Tyson....high five!
I feel like every fight Cotto in is a catch weight or at a weight his opponents is not used to.
Can someone write me a list of his last 5 and the weights please?
Can't find shit online.
I ask because I don't pay Cotto any real attention, he annoys me.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
Let's see.....
Cotto vs Delvin Rodriguez: at Jr. Middle, Delvin's natural weight. Cotto - 153.2, Delvin - 154
Cotto vs Austin Trout: at Jr. Middle, Trout's natural weight. Cotto - 153.6, Trout - 154
Cotto vs Floyd Mayweather: at Jr. Middle. Floyd also fought Canelo at this weight... anyone giving HIM shit? Cotto - 154, Floyd - 151
Cotto vs Margacheato II: at 153 catchweight, easily made by Cheato without his wraps. Cotto - 152.3, Cheato - 152.5
Cotto vs Ricardo Mayorga: at Jr. Middle, where Mayorga finished HIS career. Cotto - 154, Mayorga - 154
Anything else I can help you with?
i heard that chavez vs froch is in talks so i doubt that cotto is fighting chavez. i dont think that he is fighting ggg either. he will probably fight canelo next.
Cotto's needs to stop ducking Alvarez already. If he feels the need to duck him again than he should fight Golovkin
yeah ill write you a list of that if you can write me a list of the last 10 world title fights that were fought between 2 fighters of the same nationality that were previously unbeaten and had never fought in a world title fight before
and were both wearing the same colour gloves and shorts
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
The biggest name in boxingLol I have seen GGG fight twice at the SMALL room at MSG which only holds about 2,000 people, and in this last fight with Geale he fought in the big room but they had to close the ENTIRE top section because they could not sell enough tickets and it was completely empty. Say what you want about Cotto but he is a WAY bigger draw than GGG, Cotto sells out the big room at MSG everytime.
As far as JCC jr while he is not on anyone's p4p list he is a huge draw in the mexican community and Cotto vs Chavez would be a big money fight. GGG appears to be a special talent but he has to raise his level of opposition before I can truly pass judgement, I mean Macklin and Geale are average at best. So b4 I jump out the window on the GGG express I would like to see him fight some real competition. I've seen alot of fighters look great against average competition but everything changes when they are in there with a real boxer, look at Donaire, Broner, and Chavez jr...all 3 were undefeated and all 3 lost badly when they raised their level of competition and fought real fighters.
Yea u right and he probably will(if Solomon accepts) since it's there for the taking. But he's really gonna have to raise his level of opposition soon if he truly wants to be respected. And I do believe he will rise to the occasion, but we have seen many fighters with inflated records get exposed when they fight world class opposition.
