Max does have his favorites, I remember when JaunMa was the brightest light in the boxing universe for Kellerman.
Favorites? Yes! Soggy underwear? I don't know about that and I don't want to think about that.

It was a Teddy metaphor. Sorry.

I haven't thought about it before, but Max and Teddy are alike in one way. They can run on and on about something until you start thinking dark thoughts. Lol Like me, but I only generate happy thoughts, right? Lol

Both Max and Jim were too busy kissing Golovkins ass. Golovkin is good, but their blatant favoritism makes them look desperate.

HBO is so, so lame these days. Larry Merchant was the only one I enjoyed listening to and he is long gone now. They need a face lift there as they have become too settled and comfortable. Lampley doesn't seem to be watching the fights anymore and Kellerman has never appealed to me with his fanboy ways. I think the best voice/analysis I hear out of all the boxing networks is Malignaggi. He doesn't tow any lines and says what he thinks and I find myself agreeing with him much of the time. He is quick, lucid and interesting.

    I think this is fantastic.
The fact that HBO seem to love GGG is wonderful.

With the networks backing GGG will get the big fights.
He could land Quillen, Cotto, Soliman, Sturm...
All the name fights could happen with HBO backing.

Imagine the fights that could have been if other avoided fighters had captured TV's imagination.

Excellent point and you are right, but Max is still irritating at times. Other than going overboard when he talks about his favorites, Max is OK.

We disagree about Merchant, but both like Paulie. I guess great minds don't always think alike, correct? lol

Hey! Leave Teddy out of it.

He'd never mention another man's wet spot
