That was a shocking mismatch. Absolute shit card tonight.

I think Maidana has well eclipsed that one, while frankly Garcia has almost gone sideways. He beats Matthysse...much respect...then has a faded Judah out working him and closing strong at final bell. Outfoxed and guiled to Herrera and fortunate to get call...and has to be spoon fed this crap to feel impressive. Matthysse came back against a near jr middle bomber and went to hell and back for sensational ko win. Garcia has a long way to go
You are right maidana has well eclipsed that but i dont know what it says about everyone in the division because even then maidana was what top 5 to top 8 at jr welter and morales took him to hell and back, but i did have maidana winning. Then we get treated to part two of this shitfest when broner and matthyse face nobodies here in a month
Danny Jacobs made everyone feel good when he beat Jarrod Fletcher and Danny Garcia did what was expected when he obliterated prohibitive underdog Rod Salka, but in between, another NYC butchering took place.
To his credit, announcer Al Bernstein was the only Showtime Team member to comment that maybe they ought to start thinking about stopping the fight. The doctor must have read his mind because he immediately shouted to the recalcitrant Santiago to do just that. Santiago should have done it earlier, but this begs the question, what was Santana’s corner doing?

They're desperately trying to build him up to be an attractive B side for Floyd. They tried turning him into a Puerto Rican and that didn't work. He looked nothing special against Herrera so they put him in with a lightweight. Probably Peterson next and then maybe Floyd.
Peterson can probably take his power. If he can it's an interesting fight. Probably a war of attrition but Garcia defninitely more powerful and he probably wins on the cards. It's a fight that could go either way with the judges so where do they hold it, DC or Philly? Or maybe a neutral venue.
Agreed but Garcia is just a tad more powerful and that's one of the things most exaggerated. He's barely over 55% for a ko ratio and the only two guys worthy of note are Khan and a worn out Morales. Keep in mind that a rogue hotdog chucked into the ring could catch Khan standing straight up or off balance and stop him.
