So where was you staying in abersoch? A tent? Doesn't every holiday gaff/BB have Sky these days?

I googled abersoch. Looks a bit rough for North Wales, not half as classy as Rhyl/Prestatyn. Nice.

This is going to be an exciting fight between 2 undefeated, young, hungry welterweights. Like Honeyghan I hope he causes the upset.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I see this like Watson v Benn , heavy handed wild swinging fighter versus a clever very good boxer with a decent jab.
Hope it ends the same way![]()
Look how short Porter looks compared to Brook. I read he boxed James DeGale - who is 6'1 - in the amateurs. What a sight that must have been

Wont play for me but Brook either looks totally focused on the still cover or totally absent.
Here's a shock. The American media don't give Kell a hope in hells. 21 out of 21 pick Porter.

They both came across as confident unbeaten fighters that think they're going to win. Nothing to read into it (imo). The weigh-in later might reveal more.
But ultimately nothing matters until they start clumping each other upside the head. This is a "told ya so" fight for the fans. Either Kell is an overhyped "bum" or the real deal. Poor Porter probably wont recieve the credit he deserves if he wins.

James DeGale
“I boxed Porter in November 2007 at York Hall in an England vs. USA night (DeGale won 23-4 as England triumphed 9-2 on the night). He boxed at Middleweight but at 5ft 4in he was tiny, like a little machine. He was far too small and I battered him but as a pro he’s come down to Welterweight and in his last fight against Paul Malignaggi he looked impressive. But it is Kell Brook’s time to shine and I think he will.”

Brook has far more than just a jab in his arsenal. He has the ability to go up a level and match or beat Porter in every department, speed , power, boxing. If he has it in him mentally to do so, he can stop Porter early by walking him onto something, if it goes to the cards though he will have a tough time winning in America. He sucked it up against Jones whilst clearly not fit ,so I think he does have the heart to match his ability. Can't wait.
