If Cotto takes a voluntary defense in December, his stated goal is to fight Canelo next year. One can never be certain, especially with the "wretched WBC," but I doubt they'll force Cotto to face GGG when there is the possibility of sanctioning fees on a Canelo-Cotto fight.Originally Posted by Tam Seddon

I can't see that happening. Either cotto will find a loop hole in the whole mandatory situation or he will just drop the belt. Cotto doesn't need nor does he want ggg.
