    Old Johnny was a hugger not a fighter. Fair play to him, he sounds like years in the ring did no damage, same goes for Richie Woodhall too.

    Most blaring example is George Chuvalo. Jake Lamotta was also pretty spry until he got into old, old age.

    Both guys took more than their fair share of punches to the head.

    Tony DeMarco is 85 and is sharp as a tack. So is Jeff Fenech.


    Ray Mancini is very lucid and sharp and runs a successful business.

    Ray's career was only 5-6 years really, he was retired by 24. If he fought into his mid 30s with that style I'd say he'd be in rough shape now.
