I can see your point of view, but it just seems to me that, more often than not, a guy like Thurman jumping that high in class that fast usually falls well short and never fulfills his potential/promise as a fighter. I think of David Reid fighting Tito Trinidad and never being the same. Michael Grant getting blown out by Lennox n being finished as a fighter. Jorge Luis Gonzalez getting annihilated by Bowe. Kelly Pavilik and TVoris Cloud against Hopkins. Lacy being dominated by Calzaghe. The list goes on and on. You may be right and Thurman May be too big and too good for both guys. I hope you are right if they fight, because he seems like a good guy and is exciting which would be great for the future of the sport. I would hate to see him rushed and ruined at an early stage of his career though...
