Kid Chocolate is facing Matvey Korobov in November. Jay Z's new boxing promotional company outbid GB and TR for the fight. It's an interesting development in Kid Chocolate's career. Should he beat Korobov, which he likely will, although it's a good fight, the question will be where he goes from there.

Quillin has a mandatory with Korobov right around the corner. I'm becoming convinced the powers that be guide Qullins career with the focus of a kid texting while driving in the rain. He finally gets a meaningful 'largish' fight with a fellow undefeated...and they put him head to head with one of the more anticipated fights of the year with Hopkins vs Kovalev on a competing network.
*Edit...am I dumb? Wait this is a Simulcast hbo..right![]()

@RuThLesSrocco - good to have you back. We had some good debates a while back.
You're not a fan of Kid Choc?
As far as the fight with Korobov, I wonder which network it will end up on. Haymon is on Showtime and Top Rank is on HBO. It looks like GB is moving to HBO too, but we'll see.
They won't put it against Hopkins-Kovalev. They'll move it back a week or up a week. It's Kid Chocolate's first fight where he is headlining the event. For his sake, hopefully, he'll turn it up and stop Korobov, which is possible. On the other hand, the title could just as easily change hands.

This will be a good fight and these two are a lot more deserving to fight Soliman than Taylor.
