Floyd is a lot smarter than the refs and the judges, he has some trouble reading but he's a genius in the ring.

    Can you deny that?
Does Floyd do anything in the ring that you do like?
My answer was only pertinent to the question. I don't like Floyd outside the ring but in the ring he I'd like Van Gogh. Yes, he is a women beating douchebag but he will be known as one of the greatest ever. I don't know why you came at me with that retort as I have spoken openly about how I masturbate watching Floyd's jab, it is one of the best jabs I have ever seen. I do say Floyd being the icon he is gets a lot of mercy from refs and scorecards but I think everyone he faces knows anything close is going to Floyd
I have to apologize sir, I'm having a rubber band fight with two of my grandsons and wasn't paying enough attention, my comments were directed at broctoblockbust not you.

No problems at all, don't take out your grandsons eye.

It's just an aggressive defensive maneuver. It is technically a foul to use your elbow/forearm, but hey whatcha gonna do? Floyd is good at using it and he doesn't get called out for it so you've just got to let it go if you're the other fighter. Just know it's coming and try not to focus on it.

Leaning on and holding are also fouls and unless they are doing this, Floyd cant put his elbow under their chin so it is always the opponent who is initiating the foul.

He probably gets away with it because it's more subtle than most fouls because he uses it to create space and not as a concussive weapon.

I've seen refs warn him though and he should be warned in the future for doing it.

He has the comission and the ref on his side which he indirectly pays to not penalise him.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Although using elbows is a foul, check out rule 15 on common fouls, then 13 and 16. Holding is a foul.

Show me an instance where Floyd is using the elbow where his opponent isnt trying to hold.

That's a good move; Chavez used to use it a lot too. How else should you shove somebody off to make room for a left hook?
