Leaning on and holding are also fouls and unless they are doing this, Floyd cant put his elbow under their chin so it is always the opponent who is initiating the foul.

He probably gets away with it because it's more subtle than most fouls because he uses it to create space and not as a concussive weapon.

I've seen refs warn him though and he should be warned in the future for doing it.

Why do you think Floyd wont fight outside of Vegas. He's got the commission & their officials in his pocket. He gets away with murder there. He's allows to make his own rules for fights. Although using elbows is a foul, check out rule 15 on common fouls, then 13 and 16. Holding is a foul.

Show me an instance where Floyd is using the elbow where his opponent isnt trying to hold.
