As individuals no they are not bad for the sport by any means. What's bad is when the best of the best refuse to get over themselves and make mega fights for the fans and legacy they proclaim. The highest form of 'bad' for boxing are shitty half blind judges and easily influenced officials and the lack of universal oversight and accountability. No man who climbs through the ropes regardless of diva ego and style will ever come close to dimming the reputation and interest of boxing quite like the churning dank gutter of clusterfuck politics imbedded in this sport.
